Tatiana Gant was appointed Executive Director in 2013 of the Illinois Arts Council Agency (IACA), whose goal is to build a strong, creative, and connected Illinois through the arts. Prior to her appointment as executive director, Tatiana spent more than a decade overseeing the IACA’s Arts-in-Education programs that provide funding and resources to support learning opportunities in all areas of Illinois. She worked closely with Arts Alliance Illinois and the Illinois State Board of Education to develop and implement the Arts and Foreign Language Program to support the design and implementation of district-wide curriculum reforms for Illinois public schools. Tatiana served as the Project Director for the National Endowment for the Arts Education Leaders Institute, a national think-tank for state cohorts to address pressing education issues. Tatiana holds visual arts degrees from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Adams State University.
